Live United Award - On August 23, 2019, United Way and Mission United presented their "Live United Award " to the Bonita Bay Veterans Council, in appreciation for their generous support of Veterans and their families in our Community.
Mobile Food Pantry - In concert with the Community Cooperative of Lee County, the Bonita Bay Veterans Council has been sponsoring two mobile food pantries to assist veterans and their families in need of food and nutrition.
Veterans Service Medal - Governor Rick Scott presented Bonita Bay Veterans Council members with the Governor's Veterans Service Award at a special ceremony held at Bonita Bay Club.
Golden PAWS Assistance Dogs - We provide Welcome Kits when veterans first bring a dog home that includes six months of food, vests, leashes and more.
FGCU Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program - We have invested in a new program at FGCU that offers Honorably Discharged Veterans free instruction in the Lean Startup Methodology.
FGCU Scholarship - We have established a scholarship fund to support veterans who need assistance with their college tuition at Florida Gulf Coast University.
